Craft flavorful and authentic Korean banchan (side dishes).

Learn how to make classic Korean banchan in this engaging cooking class. Chef Polly will teach you how to get the depth of flavors that Korean cuisine is known for. First, learn to make the famous Korean napa kimchi from scratch. Then delve into the many vegetable side dishes that make up a Korean meal, from soy bean sprouts to egg souffle. We'll finish the meal with a classic pastry, hotteok with a brown sugar syrup filling.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

My husband and I had an awesome time learning how to make bonchon with Chef Polly! This was our anniversary gift to each other instead of simply going out to eat. We can’t wait to take more of Chef Polly’s classes. She introduced us to new ingredients, recipes and techniques and we left her home confident we can do this at our home. Highly recommend!

My partner and I loved our Korean Banchan class with Chef Polly! We felt Polly was empowering us to cook on our own at home, and she gave great tips and little tricks with each recipe. From perfecting the mixed purple rice, to various vegetable side dishes, to making kimchi, we covered a lot. I loved that this class was so hands on, too. Highly recommend!
