What You’ll Do

Learn foundational skills of Asian cooking making staple dishes by hand with a world-class chef

In this hands-on cooking class, you'll practice the art of making sushi along with forming and folding traditional dumplings. The chef will guide you step by step as you craft this fresh, colorful meal incorporating authentic techniques and knife work.

Using regional ingredients, you’ll make the dumplings and broth for a warming soup. Next, elevate your culinary skills as you prepare two classic types of sushi: maki salmon roll and shrimp nigiri complete with dipping sauces. Finish the meal with an impressive banana dessert served with ice cream and caramel.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

We were totally impressed!!! Valentina was so professional. While we enjoyed time in our garden, Valentina cooked. She called us in for our first course of beef tartare; what a great start! The chicken cordon bleu was the best I’ve ever had! The multi-ingredient salad was perfect with the rest of the meal. The little cake with vanilla ice cream and sauce topped off the meal. We asked Valentina to join us at the table for a little while and got to know her a bit. She cleaned up the kitchen and washed all the dishes, leaving the kitchen spotless which I really appreciated. Valentina is a true French chef! Best of luck to her success and her lucky next patrons! M
