What You’ll Do

Prepare traditional Italian dishes that feel like a warm hug from your nonna.

This interactive cooking class will transport you into an Italian grandmother's kitchen, with Chef Julia teaching you time-honored techniques for rustic pasta dumplings, cookies and more.

Begin by tossing toasted bread with ripe tomatoes, cucumbers and a basil vinaigrette into a panzanella salad. Then, Chef Julia will guide you in making gnudi, a tender ricotta dumpling, topped with herby mushrooms and butter, and spicy broccolini with lemon and garlic as a side dish that adds balance to the richness. End class by baking classic ricotta cookies infused with almond and vanilla.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Julia was WONDERFUL. My friend said it was like she "appeared out of thin air, taught us some magic, and then disappeared without a trace -- like a fairy!" and she was correct. Julia answered all our questions, was totally accommodating of our various dietary restrictions, and was a joy to be around. Would recommend a class with her to anyone. Thank you for making the last night of our bachelorette weekend a huge hit!
