Cooking Class - How to Prepare Paella

What You’ll Do

Immerse yourself in the social side of cooking with a traditional dish from Valenica, Spain.

In this cooking class with Chef Mary Ann, prepare paella, a traditional dish that hails from the coasts of Valencia, as well as other iconic staples from Spain’s southeastern region to create a menu of Mediterranean flare.

Begin by assembling an artisan greens salad with marcona almonds and manchego cheese lightly dressed in sherry vinaigrette. Next, create a simple soffritto recipe to act as the essential flavor base for your paella before adding bomba rice, tender chicken thighs and peppers. For desert, drizzle dulce de leche over of bizocho cake.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

I hired a private chef experience for my friend's bachelorette party. Chef Mary Ann was very nice, flexible with a last-minute change we needed, and the food was great!

We had the pleasure of an amazing Sicilian dinner prepared by chef Mary Ann. Not only was the food incredible, but Mary Ann also made the entire evening so enjoyable. She was professional, friendly, and clearly passionate and knowledgeable about Sicilian cuisine. It was a true culinary experience, and we can't wait to do it again. Highly recommend!

We had her cook a meal for our 1st anniversary. It was very memorable and she made my wife and I feel right at home. Her scalloped potatoes is still being talked about days after. Highly recommend!
