What You’ll Do

Indulge in the rich flavors of authentic Italian cuisine with an upscale twist.

Enjoy the comforting flavors of Italian food elevated by modern and fresh ingredients. In this cooking class, Chef David will teach you the techniques needed to craft unforgettable and authentic Italian.

You'll start by arranging hors d'oeuvres with parma ham, fresh Parmesan and salty olives. Then, prepare chicken scallopini in a tomato sauce with a tang from the lemon and tartness from capers. Next, a creamy risotto Milanese with aromatic saffron and a side of Caesar salad with homemade dressing. You'll finish by making a velvety tiramisu with coffee and sweet amaretto liqueur.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Before Chef David was an executive chef and owner of a restaurant in Switzerland, he had made appearances on a Food Network cooking show, hosted a show of his own and owned several restaurants in Iowa. At the time, he was the only French chef in Iowa. Chef David knows his way around the kitchen and is passionate about sharing his love of indulgent flavors and new culinary techniques with new audiences.
