What You’ll Do

Join Chef Alex in learning new kitchen skills and whipping up an impressive sophisticated spread.

Learn expert cooking skills and impressive French-inspired recipes in this hands-on cooking class. Chef Alex will teach you gourmet culinary techniques like preparing an authentic French chicken stew and making your own soup stock from scratch.

Begin by making a crisp frisée salad with soft-boiled eggs and a tangy handmade vinaigrette. You’ll also prepare coq au vin cooked with red wine, bacon, earthy mushrooms and herby thyme, and crushed fingerling potatoes infused with parsley and rosemary for your side dish. For dessert, you’ll bake financier cakes with rich brown butter.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Alex was fantastic! He answered all our questions and explained the process thoroughly so that we actually learned some new tips. He also was just a truly fun human to be around and we ended up with a delicious meal. Highly recommend!
