Being your plant-powered lesson with strawberry shortcake pancakes with a protein-packed twist and create a cheesy Southwestern tofu scramble with the hearty flavor of chipotle chilis. Add a hearty side of garlic-crusted breakfast potatoes and whip up baked oatmeal with a tempting blueberry cinnamon swirl.

Unfortunately, it wasn't what I was expecting. I knew beforehand that we didn't have a full kitchen and some items would need to be prepared. The only thing we could do as a group was assemble the sushi rolls. This would have been great, but the Chef only brought ONE sushi mat. Everyone had to take turns with the same mat and many people did not participate because of this. I feel like the chef could have easily brought a hot plate too to try to make some things and engage people (the caramelized bananas for example). There needed to be more tips and stories, in general. It felt thrown together at the last minute and I think my clients were disappointed and I was obviously embarrassed. The Chef was also late and didn't wash his hands when he arrived. The items he did cook were tasty and will give two stars for that.

Our experience with Chef Lillo was INCREDIBLE. He is wonderfully personable, very talented, and a fantastic teacher. The food was absolutely delicious, and it was so much fun to be in the kitchen with the chef, seeing how the (vegan) sausage gets made. The chef is also very knowledgable about the vegan scene in the area and was happy to provide us with all sorts of recommendations. Our night was A++, and I would recommend this experience to anyone (vegan or not)!
