What You’ll Do

Learn how to make vegan versions of classic Italian dishes with Chef Julia.

In this interactive cooking class, you'll apply traditional techniques while using plant-based ingredients to prepare an Italian-inspired menu. Chef Julia will show you how to highlight quality ingredients and classic flavors while creating a lighter version of Italian cuisine.

Begin with a traditional tomato bruschetta on vegan baguette followed by handmade cavatelli pasta topped with vegan kale pesto bursting with fresh basil, bright lemon and rich olive oil. For dessert, Chef Julia will teach you how to make soy milk panna cotta topped with a sweet strawberry compote.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

We had the pleasure of having Private Chef Julia Holland come over to show my girlfriend and our friends how to make a phenomenal 3 course vegan meal from scratch and we could not recommend her more. She was so personable, knowledgeable, and professional that it felt like a good friend was teaching us how to make amazing, fresh Italian food. Between the heirloom tomato bruschetta, the vegan pesto with fresh cavatelli pasta, and the strawberry compote panna cotta it was an all around wonderful and exceptionally delicious occasion. Just waiting for the next special occasion (or any excuse really) to get her back over for another fantastic dinner night!

Chef Julia was WONDERFUL. My friend said it was like she "appeared out of thin air, taught us some magic, and then disappeared without a trace -- like a fairy!" and she was correct. Julia answered all our questions, was totally accommodating of our various dietary restrictions, and was a joy to be around. Would recommend a class with her to anyone. Thank you for making the last night of our bachelorette weekend a huge hit!
