What You’ll Do

Learn authentic pasta making from scratch with Chef Carrie.

In this hands-on cooking class, you'll learn traditional pasta-making recipes and techniques handed down through generations as Chef Carrie will teaches you how to make two pasta dishes featuring classic herbs and sauces.

First, you'll combine quintessential Italian flavors into a simple yet elevated meal from a fresh Italian salad with a bright lemon vinaigrette to handmade pasta dough for tagliatelle with a basil and hemp seed pesto and ravioli with tomato basil sauce. For dessert, enjoy decadent hand-rolled truffles to end a meal that would make any Italian grandmother proud.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Carrie is an easy going and knowledgeable chef and teacher. Her falafel meatballs, Tuscan soup, and stone fruit dessert were so delicious! Even though I can cook, I don't love to do it, and I often lack inspiration. Chef Carrie gives great ideas, tips, and insider info that helped me understand what to cook and why to do it. I had a wonderful time, and I would highly recommend for a date night or for a new experience!

Class was very informative and diverse. I've cooked for over 60 years, but Carrie explained so many new things and why to do them. I enjoyed learning with her and the food was so delicious.
