What You’ll Do

Roll sushi, expertly slice fish for sashimi and learn how to make Japanese ingredients shine.

In this interactive cooking class, you'll get an introduction to the practice of sushi making, a time-honored Japanese culinary tradition. As Chef Ben teaches you how to make various types of sushi, you'll learn how to respect each ingredient and let it shine.

This hands-on class will focus on one roll and a trio of sashimi. You'll learn how to roll sushi into a spicy salmon hand roll and how to slice fish with precision for sashimi. Chef Ben will also demonstrate how to butcher a whole fish. End with sake panna cotta and coconut.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Ben is an executive chef and culinary instructor with more than a decade of high-level experience. Chef Ben began his culinary career in NYC as the sous chef at a Michelin-starred French restaurant, as the executive chef of a landmark Italian fine dining restaurant and as an instructor at a renowned cooking school. Chef Ben recently relocated to Dallas where many are awaiting the opening of his new restaurant.
