What You’ll Do

Chef Harold teaches you four dishes containing mushrooms to promote a healthier lifestyle.

Explore the disease-fighting power of mushrooms. Shiitake, oyster and reishi mushrooms contain protein, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, including selinium, choline and vitamin C. These fungi are all considered to have strong healing properties, and are the perfect foundation for some incredible recipes.

Begin by making miso soup brimming with shiitake mushrooms, scallions, tofu and dried seaweed, and oyster pancakes packed with shiitake mushrooms and chives. Next, learn how to make pad see ew — rice noodles with chicken, shrimp, eggs and (more) shiitake mushrooms. Finally, sip on a healing reishi mushroom hot cacao.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Harold is an amazing chef and teacher! We all (family of four) enjoyed learning about the ingredients, the process and of course, the sushi! Would totally do this again.

Chef Harold was awesome! So friendly and knowledgeable! The food was delicious, but we learned a lot from his tips and tricks, and will definitely be trying to recreate the recipes on our own. Thank you for making our anniversary dinner special!
