Join Chef Carolina and get ready to try your hand at brewing your own kombucha!
In this hands-on class with Chef Carolina, you will learn how to properly make, store, and flavor your own kombucha, as well as tips for troubleshooting, SCOBY care, and more!
Kombucha can be made at home with a few very basic ingredients and equipment you likely already have in your pantry. After this workshop — and a week or so of fermentation — you will end up with a fizzy, effervescent, slightly tart beverage redolent of green apple and sour stone fruits held together with an underlying sweetness boasting off-the-charts health benefits.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Meet your chef
Chef Carolina graduated from the Art Institute and The Institute of Natural Food, and worked in the restaurant industry for 12 years. She has been surrounded by good food all of her life — her mother and grandmother were always in the kitchen cooking, and she learned many secrets to authentic ethnic Mexican food from them. This has been Chef Carolina's inspiration for creating menus full of natural, unprocessed foods.
