Learn how to compose the perfect seasonal salsas to complement a Mexican street food menu.

In this hands-on class with Chef Andria, you will learn how to prepare a three-course Mexican-inspired menu using incredibly fresh, tropical ingredients and a dash of Latin flair.

Some of the recipes you can look forward to mastering in this class with Chef Andria include a crisp and well balanced pico de gallo, citrusy red snapper ceviche, sizzling flank steak steeped in a homemade guajillo chili and beer marinade, a creamy jalapeГ±o street sauce, and a refreshing key lime custard parfait with homemade coconut almond crumble and citrus whipped cream.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Andria’s 20 years of experience in the culinary industry began with a spark of inspiration from her family’s garden. When she relocated to Austin in 2012, Chef Andria found herself in a city in the middle of a food industry boom. She was further inspired by Austin’s urban farms and launched her own salsa business, which has since grown into a highly successful catering company offering cooking classes and private chef services.

Chef Andria is super fun and sweet. I really enjoyed my time learning about her dishes as well as tasting them. She provides a lot of knowledge about her dishes and will help you achieve different cooking skills (from making handmade gnocchi, to grilling steak to perfection, to making the tastiest Peruvian ceviche!). I would definitely recommend her cooking class to anyone interested in making delicious food with a friendly chef.
