Cooking Class - Soul Food Cooking and Baking Skills

What You’ll Do

Discover cooking and baking skills and techniques to make Grandma's best soul food.

In this hands-on class with Chef Michael, you'll learn how to prepare a from-scratch soul food menu that follows the cooking and baking processes that have been passed down in his family for generations.

Some of the recipes you can look forward to mastering in the class include an indulgent three cheese macaroni and cheese, crispy-on-the-outside and juicy-on-the-inside stovetop fried chicken, a combination of braised mustard and collard greens that are a nutritional powerhouse, and a Southern-style cobbler brimming with in-season fruit and a crisp, buttery topping.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
