Cooking Class - Roman Trattoria Menu

What You'll Do

Journey to Rome and discover how humble and simple ingredients can deliver deeply impactful flavors.

In this hands-on class with Chef Christopher, you'll learn how to prepare an impressive four-course menu one would typically only be able to find at an authentic Roman trattoria.

Some of the dishes you can look forward to mastering include Roman-style artichokes gently cooked in a fragrant bath of their own juices, wild mushroom risotto elevated with the addition of truffled pecorino, and an amatriciana pasta that gets its depth of flavor from Italian salt-cured pork jowl and is quick-cooked to keep the brightness of the tomato in tact.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

My husband and I had a great time with Chef Chris. He is a fun and knowledgeable chef and we enjoyed talking with him. We are seasoned and experienced home cooks, but this was cooking at a different level. We learned a lot that we will surely use often to impress family and friends, but mainly to add more flavor and interest to our food on a daily basis. Thank you, Chef Chris.
