In this hands-on class with Chef Alexandre, you will learn how to prepare a four-course Caribbean comfort food menu hailing from the island of Martinique marked by its colorful coastline and alluring Creole and French heritage.
Some of the authentic Caribbean recipes you can look forward to mastering in this class guided by Chef Alexandre include swoon-worthy stuffed crab, tender chicken stewed in creamy coconut milk and invigorating spice blend, and a rustic yet refined traditional Creole rice dish. Don't forget an incredibly fluffy Caribbean coconut pound cake for dessert!

Chef Alexandre is all about hospitality. He was warm, friendly, and made us feel at home. Chef has cooked in many different countries and his food is world class! Every dish was like an elegant classic straight out of a fine dining restaurant. But by the end, I wasn't intimidated to make the dish on my own. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Chef Alexandre and I hope to do it again!

Chef Alexandre has nearly 20 years of experience in concocting outstanding gastronomic creations in leading restaurants across the country. Chef Alexandre has also picked up a number of awards and acclamations along the way, including most recently being named the Presentation Prize Winner of the Truffle Masters Competition. He was also picked as the People’s Choice Award First Runner Up at the Epicurean Project showcase in Houston.
