What You'll Do

Chef Sal will show you how to transform traditional Italian ingredients into exquisite epicurean masterpieces.

In this hands-on class with Chef Sal, you will learn how to make an elegant, yet simple four-course Italian feast filled with wonderfully complex flavors and textures.

Pasta will take center stage as Chef Sal guides you through choosing the best wheat for filled pasta dough, milling flour at home, mixing, kneading, and rolling pasta dough, and finally filling and shaping tortelloni. You'll also prepare a snappy potato starter, colorful seasonal salad, and a light and fluffy cake flecked with pistachios and featuring Italy's original bittersweet liqueur for dessert.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

I attended Chef Sal’s class for sourdough pasta. It was held in a home kitchen that made the experience warm and cozy. I thought the ravioli pasta was the best I have eaten and plan to make it for my family and friends for my next dinner party. Thank you Chef Sal.

I really enjoyed my time with Chef Salvatore. He is VERY knowledgeable about the ingredients he uses. My favorite dish was the Miso Ramen Bowl with homemade noodles. There were so many flavors and it had a nice kick of spice to it! I can't wait to make this at home!
