Cooking Class - Sourdough Pizza Party

What You’ll Do

Fire up the wood oven, roll up your sleeves, and get ready to stretch sourdough!

In this hands-on class with Chef Sal, you will learn how to throw the ultimate pizza party complete with three spectacular pies as well as a salad to start and gelato for dessert.

Chef Sal will begin the class by taking you through the simple process of making sourdough-fermented pizza dough with whole grain flour from scratch. Chef Sal will also discuss a simple approach to curating pizza toppings and flavor combinations before you head outside to cook your sourdough pizzas in Chef Sal's backyard wood-fired pizza oven.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

I really enjoyed my time with Chef Salvatore. He is VERY knowledgeable about the ingredients he uses. My favorite dish was the Miso Ramen Bowl with homemade noodles. There were so many flavors and it had a nice kick of spice to it! I can't wait to make this at home!

I attended Chef Sal’s class for sourdough pasta. It was held in a home kitchen that made the experience warm and cozy. I thought the ravioli pasta was the best I have eaten and plan to make it for my family and friends for my next dinner party. Thank you Chef Sal.
