When it comes to preparing classic New England fare, locally sourced ingredients is a top priority. You will be learning how to incorporate these ingredients into healthy meals, including crab cakes with homemade lemon aioli, a gorgeous roasted chicken full of savory herbs, grilled seasonal vegetables, and to end the evening, a luscious Boston cream pie. The techniques you will master are easily adaptable in your own kitchen, where you can continue to enjoy New England flavors!

After beginning her culinary career as a dishwasher, Chef April has climbed the ladder and worked all the way to her current position as the founder and head teacher of a skills development cooking school. Chef April also has extensive knowledge and experience working in the world of pastry and baking, having worked in an organic bakery in France as well as running the kitchen at a one-of-a-kind cupcake shop in Kenya.

April was very professional and a terrific host. She obviously knew a lot about the food and made sure everyone was comfortable and got to participate in the process. The food at the end of the night was delicious.
