Boston, as well as the greater Northeast area, is home to divine culinary fare. Sometimes, though, the classic flavors we enjoy are not exactly healthy. That is where Chef April comes in! Let her show you how to give your favorite dishes a healthy spin.

As you prepare a beautifully succulent meal, you will be doing so using local ingredients, such as local clams, grass-fed beef from nearby Vermont, seasonal vegetables and more. Discover the vast history that goes into each authentic Boston dish.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

After beginning her culinary career as a dishwasher, Chef April has climbed the ladder and worked all the way to her current position as the founder and head teacher of a skills development cooking school. Chef April also has extensive knowledge and experience working in the world of pastry and baking, having worked in an organic bakery in France as well as running the kitchen at a one-of-a-kind cupcake shop in Kenya.

April was very professional and a terrific host. She obviously knew a lot about the food and made sure everyone was comfortable and got to participate in the process. The food at the end of the night was delicious.
