What You’ll Do

Discover the unique spirit of four different types of whiskey in this interactive virtual whiskey tasting experience.

During this live and interactive virtual whiskey tasting with Scotch Steward Kirsty, you will explore four different types of whiskey — bourbon, scotch, rye and Irish whiskey. Scotch Steward Kirsty will discuss the history, tradition, culture and flavor profiles of each whiskey as well as the proper way to taste and analyze a spirit's flavor profile. You will also learn how to create four different cocktails that are suited to each type of whiskey.

Prep Work Details

You will want to have your orange peel and lemon peel ready to go. Make the simple syrup (1 cup sugar and 1 cup hot water). Have a glass of water to the side. Prep your ice. Arrange four tasting glasses. Prepare all of your cocktail ingredients, tools, and glassware.

Kirsty's drinks are always on point. I wasn't even a fan of rum but have taken her classes in past and really enjoy her recipes so took a chance and it was well worth it. Looking forward to more classes.
