We walked away not only knowing how to make a mean paella, but also where to get the freshest seafood, what's in season when, best stovetops and equipment for aspiring culinarians, and how to watch out for 'knock-off' saffron. James' expertise was only eclipsed by his "mi casa es su casa" hospitality: the cheese plate awaiting us on arrival was exquisite and the guitar music remarkably on-point. A number of us have already started to architect plans that would bring us back to this homey dining room in the Haight-Ashbury."

The Night in Spain personal chef experience was absolutely everything I hoped for and more it honestly exceeded all expectations. From start to finish, it felt like such a thoughtful, elevated, and immersive evening. The chef was phenomenal not only with the food (which was beyond delicious and beautifully presented) but also with the way they shared the story and flavors of each dish. It really felt like being transported straight to Spain without ever leaving home. Every detail was executed so well, and it made the entire experience truly memorable. It was one of those rare evenings where everything aligned perfectly the atmosphere, the pacing, the food, and the personal touch from the chef. I can honestly say it was one of the most amazing dining experiences I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be booking again in the future and recommending Cozymeal to friends and family. Great, intimate experience. Food and cooking class were excellent. Pre-meal snack was lovely. Chef James really knows his stuff and was really patient explaining everything. Market tour was pretty short and could be better structured.

James was wonderful. He was a great host and explained everything in detail. His house was beautiful. The group enjoyed each other's company. I wish we had had some more hands on experience on cooking, though.
