With past experience that includes teaching cooking classes for kids and working as a private chef, Chef Timothy is an engaging teacher for all ages and skill levels. We had such a wonderful evening with Chef Timothy. He brought all the ingredients for our delicious four course meal that started with Thai Curry, then Pad Thai, Chicken Satay and then the grand finale of coconut sticky rice and mango. He is such a kind teacher and we enjoyed learning how to make each course and new cooking methods all in the comfort of our own home. We highly recommend having him over for a small or large gathering - you will be delighted by him!

We had a fantastic experience with our chef yesterday. He prepared a French-inspired menu that included cheese soufflé, haricots verts, chicken cordon bleu, cheesy potatoes, and tarte tatin — and he even surprised us by adding French onion soup. Everything was delicious, and there was definitely no shortage of food. In fact, there was so much that we were all in a bit of a food coma by the end of the evening.
Instead of a traditional sit-down dinner, the evening flowed more like a progressive tasting experience. He cooked each dish one at a time, explaining what he was doing along the way and getting us involved in the process. We ended up hanging out in the kitchen together, drinking wine, laughing, and learning as we went, which honestly made the night even more fun.
We learned quite a few techniques, including how to properly slice onions, how to dredge chicken for cordon bleu, and even about fermented garlic and how it adds depth to dishes. It felt like a relaxed cooking lesson mixed with a dinner party.
My favorite dishes were the cheese soufflé and the tarte tatin. They were both incredible. By the time the chicken cordon bleu was ready I was already so full that I only managed a bite, but it was excellent too.
One of my favorite moments was just standing around the kitchen together while the soufflés came out of the oven, watching them rise and then tasting them fresh while the chef explained what makes them work.
Overall it was a great experience and we would absolutely recommend the class. It was interactive, educational, and a lot of fun — a perfect mix of learning, great food, and a really enjoyable evening.

We had a great experience with Chef Tim. He arrived with delicious fresh fish flown in from Japan the night before. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. He explained everything and answered all of our questions. The recipes he taught us were delicious. He was very patient with my teenage granddaughters. We all loved the experience. We made so much food that we were able to share it at a birthday dinner that evening.

Fantastic 5 course meal with large portions. Chef Timothy rocked it. Our 2 toddlers are the pickiest of eaters and they went to town on the chicken fried rice and are on day 3 of leftovers. I fear the day in which we finally run out! Timothy also took the time to clean up and made it look as if he was never even here.

Chef Timothy was professional and organized. He came about 45 minutes early and got the kitchen ready. Our appointment was 6 p.m. and our class started just a few mins. after 6. Our class was Seafood Essentials. The food he prepared was very delicious, especially his shrimp cocktail and crab cake sauce. In fact, he prepared a lot for us that we couldn’t finish all. While we ate, he cleaned up the kitchen and rinsed off the dishes for us. He has a good sense of humor and he doesn't mind telling us his background and life story. He’s very open and courteous. We admire his work ethics and hard work all his life. We are very pleased with this cooking class experience.

Amazing! Chef Timothy was a delight to have and a gracious guest. He arrived promptly and was extremely well organized. He was knowledgable on each aspect of the menu and went above and beyond by messaging us to inquire what he should prep ahead of time as to give us the maximum amount of time in the session to make the food and ask questions. Chef Tim made a surprise for my wife so fun and enjoyable. He taught us so much about knife skills, techniques of Asian cooking, and was so kind and personable. We’d recommend him for anyone — families, work events, and friends too!

Wonderful experience with Tim. He came to my apartment and brought all the premium ingredients and equipment for cooking. He was patient, answered our questions and was full of energy with a passion for culinary dishes! I’d highly recommend Chef Tim for your event and I will be booking again soon!

The chef was nice and accommodating but the foods were beyond unsatisfying. Fish products were limited and not fresh. Meat stuffing in dumplings were sour. It tasted like overdue meat. I have hired private chefs to my private chef events before and this was definitely not the best experience we had. My kitchen was left a mess. Supplies were left in random areas of my house and very disorganized. I usually do not give bad ratings but this did not meet my expectations at all. I hope he does a better job at sanitation, organizing, and prepping for his future events.

There were 26-28 people for the class and the Chef…too many people. It was unorganized and we basically taught ourselves, with the help of the guest around us. On a positive, the Chef was trying his best and the people around were really nice.

Chef Timothy is a wonderful guy and very knowledgeable. The class structure needs a bit of tweaking though, and his organization/delivery needs a bit of work. He was super open to constructive criticism so hopefully he will fine tune his presentation to flow a bit better, get food on the table quicker, and read the flow of the room a bit better. All in all though, there were lots of smiles and we all left with full bellies.
