What You’ll Do

Discover a traditional taste of classic New England fare in this Handmaid's Tale-inspired culinary experience.

During this live and interactive online cooking class with Chef Chris, you will learn how to prepare three traditional New England dishes using fresh, high-quality ingredients and time-honored culinary techniques.

Chef Chris will begin by teaching you how to make Anadama bread from scratch using cornmeal and molasses. Then, you will learn how to brew a batch of hearty fisherman's chowder before ending on a sweet note with a farmer's buttermilk sherbet that doesn't require any churning or a fancy ice cream machine. Gilead has nothing on these recipes!

Cozymeal was a unique and fun experience to share with my colleagues in multiple countries. Chef Chris was an excellent guide, attentive to our questions and making sure we had adequate time to finish each step so no one fell out of sync. I especially enjoyed learning about the history of the foods we were preparing and a bit of the chemistry involved in cooking. I would recommend Cozymeal to anyone who likes to eat and is looking for a fun virtual gathering opportunity.
