Learn how easy it is to make this sweet and chewy Japanese dessert at home.

During this live and interactive online cooking class with Chef Andy, you will learn how to make mochi ice cream from scratch right in your own kitchen. Chef Andy will begin by teaching you how to make the mochi dough and the secrets to getting the right consistency. Once you've mastered the dough, you will then use it to make vanilla or chocolate as well as matcha mochi ice cream.

Mochi Ice Cream Kit
Kit includes: Sweet rice flour, potato starch, matcha green tea powder, cocoa powder, ice cream mold, dough cutter and instructions. Servings: Makes 32 pieces (4 batches of 8). Please discuss with the class host the exact ingredient needs if purchasing the optional kit.

Mochiko glutinous rice flour (highly recommend this one)

Prep Work Details

Before class, portion out 12 scoops of ice cream of your choice and keep in freezer until used, and have all ingredients measured out.
