How much should I tip my private chef?
The amount you tip is entirely down to your discretion, however, let us start by saying that when you hire a chef, you’re under no obligation whatsoever to give one. Regardless of whether there is a tip on the table, your chef takes pride in providing the most memorable dining experience for everybody sitting around it. Having said that, we understand that you may wish to tip in order to thank your host for such a wonderful evening. If so, again, the amount is up to you, but if you’re unsure, we usually suggest between 10% and 25% of the total experience cost.
