As a health coach, Chef Lilly knows there are many health benefits to eating raw foods. In this hands-on class, she teaches you how to prepare raw food that is not only nutritious, but also indescribably delicious!
Chef Lilly's approachable personality, health knowledge, and sense of humor make for a wonderful class that is incredibly informative and makes healthy cooking simple. In this class, you will create four unique raw food dishes that are vibrant, colorful, and full of flavor that brings out the true essence of each raw ingredient.

Meet your chef
Chef Lilly grew up in France, where her passion for cooking was sparked while exploring the kitchen of the bakery her parents owned. After attending the French Pastry School, she went on to gain experience at many top restaurants in Chicago. Chef Lilly is also a health coach and a seasoned culinary instructor who loves to have fun in the kitchen. Her sense of humor, health knowledge, and easy recipes make for an incredible experience!

So welcome, smart, knowledgeable and really made us feel at home. Four courses of AMAZING tasting food, new learning of sauces, marinades and protein sources. Chef Lilly went above and beyond and we are definitely going to take another class with her in the future. Recommend for learning the basics of healthy cooking or wanting to explore your horizons. That bolognese sauce was fire.

Chef Lilly was great! We had a wonderful experience. She was very insightful on healthy ingredients and not only provided us an explanation on what we were making but created an experience where we could re-create what we made. I would definitely recommend her for a date night and lessons on healthy cooking / eating.

We had the most fabulous experience with Chef Lilly! She was the perfect host, teacher and guide in our desire to learn more about plant-based cooking. Not only does she have a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge, but she is supportive in letting us try new skills and very fun! We spent - as a couple - hours with her enjoying her insights and skills and were so surprised to see how quickly the time had passed! Chef Lilly is an absolute treasure. I really mean that. I booked this class in the hopes that I could get my fiance to enjoy healthy plant based desserts and Lilly went ABOVE AND BEYOND to meet that need. She contacted me ahead of time to understand what we were hoping to achieve from the class and then made sure to work mostly with my fiance based on his sweetness preferences and helped coach him to do most of the cooking. I learned so many new things from her and she provided such a wonderful learning environment. She is so knowledgeable and kind. I would book with Chef Lilly again any day. I hope you get the chance to take a class with her. You'll be glad you did.

My boyfriend and I took this class because we have been curious about plant based eating and cooking. Chef Lilly was so welcoming and warm! She was also very organized and prepared. Chef Lilly got to know us first so we felt comfortable. When it came to cooking and nutrition, Chef Lilly was very knowledgeable. She took the time to teach us step by step and was patient with us learning! We would highly recommend taking a class with her!!

We had a wonderful cooking class with Chef Lilly. She gave us some new vegan dining choices which were delicious while accommodating my husband's gluten-free diet. We enjoyed ourselves very much and look forward to experimenting with the new vegan recipes and cooking advice.

Cooking with Chef Lilly was an amazing experience! My friend and I felt very welcomed and right at home with her in the kitchen! Chef Lilly is very purposeful in her cooking and also in getting to know you. I appreciated her sitting down with us to have a chat before cooking to get to know one another for a more personal experience. Chef Lilly put lots of care and special touches into her recipes and our experience. She helped re-spark my love for vegan cooking and I feel less intimidated and more inspired to cook simple, wholesome meals again! Working with Chef Lilly was a really fun and personal experience. She was a great host and brought creative ideas to the table. Everything was very well thought out and she gave us great tips for introducing new flavors and herbs to make healthy cooking more exciting. This was a romantic and fun date night and my boyfriend and we highly recommend chef Lilly! She even gave us leftovers and recipes to take home!

We had a fantastic experience with Chef Lilly! She made us feel welcome and we quickly felt like old friends spending a fun time in the kitchen. Chef Lilly taught us 7 traditional recipes from her Algerian mother's cuisine repertoire and the the dinner we made together was so delicious and flavorful. She also gave us healthier cooking alternatives and very useful tips. The best part is that Chef Lilly packed the rest of the dinner so we could have another feast at home! We highly recommend her!

We had a lovely experience cooking with Chef Lilly! She made us feel welcome when we arrived and make preparing and making everything very straightforward. We especially appreciated getting the chance to see how vegan cashew cheese is made. Everything was very delicious and healthy. Would highly recommend to vegans and omnivores alike as a great experience to try healthy plant-based eating.

Chef Lilly's plant based cooking was AMAZING! The flavors she layered into each dish were incredibly tasty. She is incredibly knowledgeable about health and nutrition and gives tips that are quite simple yet make a big difference in the dishes. If you've ever wondered how to get into healthier cooking, Chef Lilly has the answer for you! Her food is vibrant — full of colors and flavors that bring out the true essence of the ingredients. She prepares food with their health impact in mind, but at the same time, manages to make the final dishes taste wonderful. Who knew that a spinach dip full of flavor, was also full of rich goodness? The lemon turmeric energy balls were such a treat that incorporated a vibrant blend of ingredients that Chef Lilly easily shows how to combine in order to create your new homemade power bars. Chef Lilly's sense of humor, food and health knowledge, and easy to follow recipes, make for a wonderful class that you shouldn't miss if you want to care about what you eat and how to improve your own health!

Chef Lilly has quickly become a favorite here at the Library. Her healthy lifestyle programs are easy to understand and full of great tips. Her combination of program presentation – including Power Point, lecture, small group discussion, physical example pass around, and sample tasting – make sure that there is a learning style that appeals to each and every attendee. Lilly has helped many people understand the finer points of healthy eating, separating fact from fiction, and showing how easy it is to follow the lifestyle change presented (plant-based eating, sugar elimination/reduction, label education, etc.). I highly recommend Lilly’s highly engaging programs. Her follow-up one-on-one raffle prizes have been highly sought after. Whether as a health coach, healthy eating chef, or a wellness presenter, Lilly is an excellent choice. Her programs have led me to many lifestyle changes as well.

Chef Lilly coaches people on cooking healthy food. Her food tastes really good. I did not think it would because it was plant based. She has been coaching me for six months now, and I now have a different view about how to prepare a healthy meal, and how some spices and herbs can make food taste delicious without the need to add a lot of fat. She helped me so much that I can honestly say, I can stick to this way of eating for the rest of my life. Chef Lilly has a very easy way of teaching, so people like me can learn it and continue to use the recipes and the techniques. She allowed me to be hands on in the kitchen with her and that boosted my confidence. She really likes teaching healthy eating and it shows in how she prepares her food. I have learned so much from her and I highly recommend her classes to anyone wanting to improve their health and have fun in the kitchen.

Lilly taught several cooking classes when I managed our local Community Cooking School. She was always so professional, great at working with deadlines, easy to communicate with and very organized. She made the students feel at ease with her calm demeanor and was so good at explaining techniques and recipes, making her an ideal instructor for both demonstration and hands on classes. Not to mention her food is Delicious. She uses healthy ingredients in a way that is accessible and not intimidating. I constantly received great reviews about Lilly's teaching style and the quality and taste of her food from our students. I would highly recommend Lilly's classes to anyone who wants to learn how to make food that utilizes healthy fresh ingredients in a creative way, and is easy to replicate at home.

I have known Chef Lilly for many years now and I've grown to respect and welcome her vast knowledge in healthy eating and cooking. I've attended various classes of Chef Lilly's: a one on one session in her home, as participant in a group class and as a spectator during an instructional event. Lilly arrives well prepared with delicious recipes to demonstrate for her anticipating guests. She is very organized and eager to teach. Chef Lilly has an easy going approach towards her tasks at hand which, in turn, makes the participants more relaxed, focusing all their attention to her instruction. Her recipes are amazing, tasty and colorful. Who knew that a chocolate mousse made with no sugar or dairy but avocado and dates could be so pleasing to the palette. One may experience this themselves attending "Simple sweets and Healthy treats" or perhaps the crisp apple kale salad during " Satisfying Simple Vegan ". Kale isn't just for smoothies. I would highly recommend Chef Lilly's class to anyone interested in choosing a healthier way of eating. you will be in good company.

I took a one on one class with Chef Lilly. When I got to the kitchen, all ingredients and utensils were ready. We efficiently made 6 recipes. Cooking was very hands on, so I can learn to make all the recipes myself. It was a lot of fun as well as very instructive. At the end of the session, I had 6 different sauces and the recipes/ knowledge to make them again at home. Chef Lilly is an excellent instructor and highly knowledgeable on plant based cooking. I would highly recommend taking one of her cooking classes.

I really enjoyed Chef Lilly's cooking class. I found the class to be well organized and instructive. It was easy to follow and understand. She created an environment that put everyone at ease. In addition to valuable health information, I also learned how to prepare a healthy meal that would improve my cooking skills and the quality of my life. The food was full of flavor and very tasty. I would highly recommend Chef Lilly's classes to anyone who has a serious interest in learning how to prepare healthy enjoyable meals that would also improve their health and well being.

I was lucky enough to win a personalized meal preparation session with Chef Lilly. We were welcomed to Lilly's home where she guided us in the preparation of a healthy meal. I had requested a Mediterranean meal that was not as difficult as I thought it would be. and it was absolutely delicious. Lilly prepared different smoothies for us as well. We went home with a bag filled with healthy meals and drinks. I learned so much over an evening ! both in the reading of labels then in preparing a healthy meal. Thank you Chef Lilly for making me see it is not difficult to be conscious of our purchased and prepared meal components.

Chef Lilly is an amazing Chef. I don't do well with overly complicated recipes with a bunch of ingredients. Everything I have made under Chef Lilly's instructions has had three to five simple ingredients. Everything tasted amazing and it was really super healthy. Cooking with Chef Lilly was fun, she gives you a lot of information about the ingredients, where to get them, how to store them, use them and also their benefits and why we are using them in a particular recipe. Also how to substitute them. She also makes sure you understand everything thoroughly. She has helped me figure out ways I can plan and make healthy foods for the week. Cooking and eating healthy can be intimidating to someone with little experience in the kitchen. Chef Lilly is all about making simple menus that are easy to make , but also nourishing to the body and delicious to the pallet. I highly recommend Chef Lilly's class.

Chef Lilly is very knowledgeable about healthy cooking and can answer all your questions about the subject. She is very personable and easy to talk to . She loves making healthy recipes in her kitchen. She gave me great ideas for not using sugar and what to use instead . She gave me great tips about understanding where they come from and how to eliminate sugar cravings. She is also a gardener and loves to use vegetables from her garden into her recipes. I love taking her classes and you will too.
