What You’ll Do

Learn the art of handcrafting versatile modern sauces to update and elevate classic comfort foods.

In this hands-on class, Chef Hannah hosts an exciting culinary experience where you will learn the skills to create dishes that are perfect for a romantic night in or to impress at your next pot luck.

You will begin by learning how to take mac n' cheese to the indulgent and sophisticated next level with homemade bГ©chamel. Then, see how gastrique brightens earthy brussels sprouts, while chimichurri gives a welcomed tang to meats and vegetables. Lastly, learn how to prepare an updated caramel sauce perfect for dessert or even breakfast!

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

We had such an amazing time with Hannah! We learned so many new and exciting tricks that we can't wait to use in our kitchen. She was easy to talk to, open to all of our questions, and made it such a unique experience for all of us. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed Chef Hannah, the menu was good, and we enjoyed the food. Apartment was a bit small and hot and we would have liked more of a hands on experience.

We had the best evening at Chef HannahвЂ™s apartment. SheвЂ™s a very experienced chef who offers a great education resulting in a delicious meal. It was an intimate experience and we were fortunate that the other couple in the class was fun and enjoyable. It made for an evening of good food and group dynamics. Chef HannahвЂ™s class is casual, homey and perfect for those looking for a small group experience. It is not cooking school style, but more creative with lots of direct, personal interaction with the chef. This was absolutely the right experience for us and the other couple who attended, but might not meet expectations for someone looking for a fancy experience.

Chef Hannah is not only creative but has the chops to back it up. Her food while exciting is well-executed and tasty. A perfect date night activity. You'll leave knowing how to cook the dishes well enough for company.
