Cooking Class - Cruising Through Pacific Cuisine

What You’ll Do

Join Chef Jeffery as your cruise director though the culinary traditions lapped by Pacific waters.

In this hands-on class, Chef Jeffery will unlock the secrets to traditional Asian cuisines as you work your way through the techniques, ingredients, and recipes of the Pacific.

Begin by working with PEI live mussels to be prepared with Japanese mayo, sake, sriracha, and chili flakes, then glazed under the broiler and topped with ponzu and chives. Move onto a pork medallion rubbed with Chinese five-spice and smoked over Darjeeling tea that will be served with rice cooked subgum in a sizzling wok. Finish the cruise with a fluffy Tokyo-style cheesecake.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Jeffrey was awesome! He and his wife Jill made us feel so comfortable in their home and the food was amazing! He walked us through step by step of how to prepare each course and was very knowledgable. Definitely a fun experience!

Absolutely loved our cooking experience with Chef Jeffrey. He and his wife were so welcoming and patient with us (and our intermediate cooking skills ?). Would definitely be coming back for more lessons! Food was delicious!!!
