Cooking Class - 5-Day Foodie Fun Kids: Baking Fun - Alexandria

What You’ll Do

Let your mini bakers get a crash course in all things food.

In this hands-on cooking series, students ages 7-11 will get to explore their creativity, work as a team and create something delicious in a week-long course focused on baking. If you’re looking for summer cooking classes that will teach your child skills that they can use both in the kitchen and beyond, then this class is just right. Taught by a top-rated instructor, at the end of the class each student will get a special graduation certificate and a cool printed menu to take home.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes. Parents do not stay during the classes.

Our chef Lyn was professional, patient and humorous during class. My son paid for the class as a birthday gift for my sister and me. We had a ball and have been recommending the class to all our friends.

Chef Lisa led a great Italian cooking class that I thoroughly enjoyed. Not only did she make it fun, but I learned so much about proper cooking techniques. I plan to attend more classes.
