Cooking Class - 5-Day Foodie Fun Teens: Baking Challenge

Bring baking show talent to the home kitchen.

For budding foodies, there's nothing more fun and confidence-inducing than this cooking series. These summer cooking classes are designed for teens ages 12 and older to gain kitchen confidence, creativity and a lifetime love of cooking and baking. Guided by a gourmet chef, they'll learn food prep skills and advanced baking techniques such as flipping crepes, shaping macarons, decorating cakes and whisking delicate pastry dough. Each student will take home a printed menu and a graduation certificate to show off their skills.

Classes typically run for two to two and a half hours, unless specified otherwise. Group work is a key component; kids can expect to collaborate with four other students. The class involves standing, cooking and active participation throughout. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required and long hair should be securely tied back for safety. Please note that these are drop-off classes.В Parents do not stay during the classes.

The Cozymeal experience was horrible. we enjoyed our chef and did a good job hosting the class but dealing with Cozymeal was unpleasant. - have food allergies? too bad, not only are you forced to work with the ingredients, THEY WON'T TELL YOU WHAT THEY ARE BEFOREHAND. - need to reschedule? too bad, lose your money. - need to communicate with the chef? too bad, all communications go through Cozymeal. i would consider another class but would book directly with and skip this service.

I attended a sushi cooking class recently and wanted to share my experience. The class itself was fun, and the sushi we made was tasty. However, at no fault to the chef, the large class size detracted from the learning experience, making it difficult to receive personalized instruction. While the class wasn't designed for mastering sushi making, the nearly three-hour session still felt rushed, and I left without a solid grasp of the basics I hoped to learn. A smaller class size would likely provide a more focused and enriching experience.
