This hands-on cooking class with Chef Aunt V is a study in traditional Mediterranean recipes that showcase vibrant and colorful ingredients, including chickpeas, tomatoes, green herbs and lemon.

Start by making bright red pepper hummus with garlic and olive oil. For the entrГ©e, you'll prepare falafels using chickpeas, tahini sauce and fresh herbs and pair it with fresh pita bread and lentil soup made with finely chopped tomatoes, herbs, olive oil and lemon. For dessert, mix a creamy sorbet made with organic sugar.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

We had a very fun experience learning to make ricotta tortelloni as a family for my aunts birthday. Not only did I learn how to make the fish, I also learned a lot about knife skills and nutrition! Aunt V was so nice, knowledgeable and prepared. She even made is fun for my 5 and 7 year old, giving them tasks they can handle and feel like part of the adults. I would highly recommend!
