What You’ll Do

Learn how to make your favorite Mexican dishes from scratch with simple ingredients.

Flavorful Mexican cuisine will be on display in this engaging cooking class. Gather around as Chef Mary Jane teaches a variety of kitchen techniques and recipes for homemade dishes.

To start the class, you'll cure shrimp in lime juice with tomatoes and avocado for classic ceviche. Next, learn how to make tamales with masa, fill them with pork and black beans and cook to perfection. Make a tangy tomatillo sauce to top your tamales, and serve with zucchini and onions sprinkled with cortija cheese. For dessert, whip up a rich vanilla flan.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

This was a wonderful experience. We have four people do the Mexican themed cooking class. Beautiful setting, great learning and incredible food. Mary Jane was great! She shared many of her unique experiences throughout the experience.
