In this hands-on cooking class, prepare classic Italian dishes with Chef David completely from scratch. Learn how to create beloved dishes using authentic recipes and bold flavors.

Begin by crafting simple and elegant hors d’oeuvres with ham, Parmesan cheese and fresh olives. Then, prepare two Italian favorites: Lemon chicken scallopini with zesty capers and a creamy tomato sauce, and traditional risotto with saffron, rice and fresh tomatoes. After mixing up a fresh Caesar salad with homemade dressing, Chef David will show you how to make mouthwatering tiramisu for dessert.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Before Chef David was an executive chef and owner of a restaurant in Switzerland, he had made appearances on a Food Network cooking show, hosted a show of his own and owned several restaurants in Iowa. At the time, he was the only French chef in Iowa. Chef David knows his way around the kitchen and is passionate about sharing his love of indulgent flavors and new culinary techniques with new audiences.
