Cooking Class - Fresh From the Farmers’ Market

What You’ll Do

Get inspired by the seasonal fare of your local farmers’ market to craft a meal.

Your local farmers' market has plenty of hidden treasures and fresh ingredients for a meal. Chef Joi will show you how to take your farmers' market finds and create three flavorful courses.

You'll begin with a tart strawberry and spinach salad with roasted pecans and goat cheese. Next, cook salmon with a citrus and honey glaze resting on a bed of arugula with roasted sweet potatoes and brown sugar, and garlic roasted broccoli on the side. Indulge in a citrus berry compote and ice cream for dessert.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Joi was great and I would highly recommend doing this. She was very nice and we had a lot of fun! She modified the recipes to meet my dietary needs which was very appreciated!
