Cooking Class - Latin Favorites With a Vegetarian Twist

What You’ll Do

Eat your vegetables with a bit of Latin flair with these plant-based favorites.

After trying these plant-based versions of your favorite Latin fare, you may never want to go back. Chef Joi will teach you how to harness the spices and fresh ingredients into a flavorful dinner menu.

Start with salsa con queso with queso blanco, cheddar cheese and fresh tomato salsa with crunchy homemade tortillas to dip into the queso. For the main course, you'll make crispy fried buffalo cauliflower to pile high on a tortilla with avocado and cheese and cilantro-lime rice on the side. For dessert, whip up creamy cinnamon arroz con leche.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Joi was great and I would highly recommend doing this. She was very nice and we had a lot of fun! She modified the recipes to meet my dietary needs which was very appreciated!

Joi blew all of our expectations away with her meal choice, conversation, and instructions. She was incredibly knowledgeable about our cooking questions and went above and beyond to ensure we had fresh ingredients, alternative menu items, and a phenomenal experience!
