We had a fantastic time with this experience. Chef Kavitha was able to accommodate us in our tiny Brooklyn kitchen and came with all the supplies she needed. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the cuisine and was able to answer a lot of questions, and we learned a ton. The food was also delicious and it was fun to try to cook our own dosas.

We highly recommend this class! Chef Kavitha explained the recipes in an easy-to-follow manner, and demonstrated the best ways to shape and cook the dosa and accompaniments. The food was delicious and we had a great time. Chef Kavitha was very friendly and a joy to cook with too!

Kavitha’s South Indian Dosa cooking class is FANTASTIC! I booked her for my girlfriend’s bday and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Kavitha was very detailed in her explanations of the recipes, as well as the history behind each dish. She walked us through each item step by step, and the final dishes were so tasty. She is very talented and we recommend you try out her south indian dosa class - you won’t regret it.

Chef Kavitha was absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious, and the teaching very thorough. Breaking down the spices the way she did means we'll be able to try these dishes ourselves the in future. But most of all, she was just such a lovely person. It was a real joy to have her visit our home for a bit. Highly recommend!

We had a great time cooking with Kavitha. She was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend time with. Kavitha was impressively organized and most of the ingredients were presliced/chopped so we could spend more time on actually cooking the meal, which was DELICIOUS!

Chef Kavitha was incredible from our first communication to the actual cooking class! She was super easy to communicate with and provided detail instructions ahead of time. She is extremely (!!) knowledgable about each meal she prepared and talked us through everything without it being too confusing for a novice like myself in the kitchen. She also was extremely personable throughout the entire class, talking to my girlfriend about her past trips to India. While this was no surprise, the food was AMAZING! I HIGHLY recommend Chef Kavitha to anyone looking to learn a few new dishes at home.

Kavitha is amazing! First and foremost, the food was fantastic and reminded me of what my mum used to cook at home. Kavitha thoroughly walked us through each step and gave us some nice context as to the reasoning behind the flavors, and if that wasn't enough, we also got printouts so we could make the recipes in our own time. Beyond the cooking, she is also such an easy person to get along with, and we had so much fun doing the class! Highly highly recommend.

Chef Kavitha’s class was nothing short of an absolute dream. She’s an amazing teacher and incredibly personable. This felt like cooking with a close family member. The food itself was nothing like I’ve ever tasted. A myriad of deep and satisfying flavours that were tailored to our tastebuds. *Chef’s Kiss* 10/10 we WILL be booking many classes with her in the future!

"This has really fun classes to take with a great teacher. The food has turned out amazing each time. Kavitha is clear in her instruction and very patient. We have been getting the recipes beforehand and they are well written as well. We have actually signed up for our third class which will take place tomorrow. Looking forward to it!"
