Allow Chef Kavitha to awaken your senses in this interactive cooking class as she teaches you how to craft an authentic South Indian breakfast menu.

Start by dishing up gluten-free, savory breakfast crГЄpes known as masala dosa, one of the most popular Indian breakfast dishes. After preparing the crГЄpes, you'll whip up a masala potato mash and coconut-cilantro chutney. While you are cooking, indulge in a cup of traditional South Indian filter coffee made with warming chicory.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

We had a fantastic time with this experience. Chef Kavitha was able to accommodate us in our tiny Brooklyn kitchen and came with all the supplies she needed. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the cuisine and was able to answer a lot of questions, and we learned a ton. The food was also delicious and it was fun to try to cook our own dosas.

Finally learned how to prepare and make dosa and masala chai! Had a super fun afternoon with Chef Kavitha and am looking forward to taking more classes with her.

We highly recommend this class! Chef Kavitha explained the recipes in an easy-to-follow manner, and demonstrated the best ways to shape and cook the dosa and accompaniments. The food was delicious and we had a great time. Chef Kavitha was very friendly and a joy to cook with too!
