Cooking Class - Pressure Cooker Vegan Chili

What You’ll Do

Learn how to use a pressure cooker to make healthy vegan chili with Chef Shakti.

Join Chef Shakti and learn how simple it is to make warm-you-up vegan chili in a pressure cooker that saves time and seals in flavor.

Start off with a mixed greens salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, lemon, olive oil and spices, and garlic and herb crostini made featuring a toasted French baguette brushed with olive oil and sprinkled with fresh herbs. Then, combine beans, onions, carrots, celery, peppers, tomatoes and herbs in your pressure cooker to make homemade vegan kabocha chili, and cap off the class with dessert: butter and agave-roasted apples with vegan ice cream.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

It was a very nice experience. We maybe should have picked a more challenging class. Chef Shakti was very knowledgable and welcoming.

Chef Shakti was so friendly and welcoming to her cozy apartment. She was informative and made the experience fun and comfortable. I would highly recommend any of her classes. We did the New American Vegan and the food was delicious, and so simple to make! I can't wait to make it again for my friends.
