In this hands-on class with Chef Douglas, you will learn how to prepare a four-course California-style menu using fresh, high-quality ingredients and tried-and-true cooking techniques that aim to maintain and celebrate the superior flavors of those ingredients.

Some of the recipes you can look forward to adding to your culinary repertoire in this class include a basil and peach mignonette to go with freshly shucked oysters, succulent garlic prawns with tomatoes and grilled artichokes, and a wonderfully tangy strawberry rhubarb tart with honey yogurt and candied walnuts for dessert.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Douglas has traveled the world to get his inspiration for the dishes that were served, and the presentation and flavors reflected that! The dishes weren't over thought out and were simple yet delicious. If you are looking for a great culinary adventure you and your friends will love Chef Douglas and his menu!!

I just want to make sure that this is going to the correct “chef Doug”. He was great and helped me plan an amazing evening and dining experience for my wife and little girl!! I can’t recommend him highly enough! He took my recommendations and put his spin on it and it all came out great! Book him...you will be so happy that you did!
