My partner and I loved the course. Chef Meena was lovely and a polite host to us the whole time. We cooked shahi paneer with jeera rice and vegetable pakora. With Chef Meena's guidance, we were able to make a delicious dish that feels easy to make. We left with lots of leftovers and we look forward to trying it again by ourselves.

We very much enjoyed our time with chef Meena. We made pakoras, jeera rice, shahi paneer and coriander chutney. Chef Meena had also prepared tamarind chutney and rice pudding ahead of time for us. The food was delicious and we appreciated how simple the recipes were. We can definitely reproduce this at home. Weâ€™re very grateful to chef Meena for ensuring that the kitchen was gluten free and the recipes were all naturally gluten free. We would recommend this to anyone interested in learning how to create an authentic Indian meal at home with easy to find ingredients and easy to follow recipes.

We learned many things from chana masala to frying bhatura to making both chutneys. We made shahi paneer of which the base can be splendidly used for malai kofta and butter chicken. We also made chaat and pistachio kulfi and vegetable biryani. There are variations for how to make all of these but what I loved was knowing when to add certain spices and what oil to use. Vegetable or mustard. We didnâ€™t have any Tupperware to bring so she kindly gave us takeout boxes to enjoy all the leftovers at home. Very helpful. The only thing I would have added was masala chai but since Iâ€™m off caffeine, we enjoyed hot and cold water.

You are going to think all these 5 star reviews must be fake because how could someone be that great. Honestly this cooking class is 110% worth it. Not only does Chef Vinu teach you some delicious recipes, she walks your through the cultural and geographical theory behind flavourful pairings and ingredients. I took my fiance for his birthday and we had a private tutorial in Chef Vinus gorgeous home. We cooked and talked and ate till we were stuffed. I cannot recommend this experience any higher. Please please do not scroll by, book this cooking class, you will not regret it!!

My daughter and I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Meenaâ€™s Indian cooking class! From start to finish, it was warm, welcoming, and incredibly delicious. We learned how to make Chaat, Chana Masala, and Vegetable Biryani, and every dish turned out amazing. Meena is a fantastic teacherâ€”she explained each step thoroughly and made the whole process feel approachable and fun. What really stood out was her thoughtfulness and flexibility. Since weâ€™re not big fans of cilantro, she kindly prepared two separate versions to accommodate us, which was so appreciated. She also showed us how to prepare a fresh coriander chutney, and generously shared some of her own homemade tamarind chutney which was absolutely delicious. As if that wasnâ€™t enough, we finished with Kulfi, which was the perfect not-too-sweet ending. Everything we made (and tasted!) was incredible. I would highly recommend this class to anyone looking for a hands-on, authentic, and enjoyable cooking experience!

I gave this as a part of a birthday gift for my best friend. The house is lovely, clean and organized. Heâ€™s fully set up. We learned a few tricks of the trade when it comes to the perfection of the dumpling. Heâ€™s extremely knowledgeable, friendly in hospitable. We brought wine, to have with a meal, which was absolutely delicious. Might I add perfectly steamed. We were the only two in the class. Which worked out great for us. It was more like a private class. His timing is excellent, and you do not feel rushed. Thereâ€™s plenty of time in the handouts to take home for future dumpling making was extremely helpful. Definitely looking forward to another cooking class with Akshay. I highly recommend him!!!
