Peter was an absolute delight to be in the kitchen with. From the tart, he greeted us with a warm welcome and his hospitality was great. His chef experience had us excited to assist prepping the meals, and each dish was made amazingly. He not only taught us how to make each dish, but taught us the techniques whether it was to prep, chop and cook. I'm really excited to take this knowledge and apply it within my own kitchen, and hope we can visit Peter again to check out his other classes. Thanks Peter!

Amazing experience overall, thanks a bunch to Chef James who showed us all the tips and tricks to make great sushi! I can definitely recommend it to everyone who'd like to get (1) a demonstration of how to cut fish, veggies, and roll sushi as well as (2) actually doing all those things themselves.

I gave this as a part of a birthday gift for my best friend. The house is lovely, clean and organized. Heâ€™s fully set up. We learned a few tricks of the trade when it comes to the perfection of the dumpling. Heâ€™s extremely knowledgeable, friendly in hospitable. We brought wine, to have with a meal, which was absolutely delicious. Might I add perfectly steamed. We were the only two in the class. Which worked out great for us. It was more like a private class. His timing is excellent, and you do not feel rushed. Thereâ€™s plenty of time in the handouts to take home for future dumpling making was extremely helpful. Definitely looking forward to another cooking class with Akshay. I highly recommend him!!!

We cooked Sensational Handcrafted Dim Sum. From the very beginning we got greeted by chef Akshay we went to wash our hands and came to the kitchen. From the very start, you can tell that the chef takes pride and what he does. Everything was prepped in the fridge two hours before we came measured and just to the right serving portions. We started cutting the ingredients prepping they tofu and mushroom wontons. Then we started making chicken shumai and shrimp Cheung fun. And finished off the master class with chocolate spring rolls, which was amazing.

Chef Akshay was a phenomenal teacher and host. We are two beginners in the kitchen who were hoping to learn some new recipes. Chef Akshayâ€™s â€œIndian Flavor Excursionâ€ class far exceeded our expectations! From the first minute, he made us feel welcome not only as learners but as guests in his home kitchen. We learned several fantastic recipes which were so delicious that we can't wait to make them again at home! In addition to teaching us the recipes, Chef Akshay was eager to teach fundamentals of cooking as well. We learned things ranging from new knife skills to pearls for being more efficient in the kitchen. One moment from the class that really stood out was when he led us through an exercise in mindfully tasting the food during the cooking process to decide how to optimize the dishâ€™s flavour. It felt like a Eureka moment for us novices in the kitchen. Chef Akshay is passionate about cooking and teaching, and this is evident in his class. I strongly recommend his classes; we will certainly be signing up for another one with him!

Our experience was amazing!!!! I had purchased this as a gift for my granddaughter that gave us something to do together and we both loved it!!!!! She actually phoned me from the grocery store on Sunday to let me know she was picking up all the ingredients to cook the meal again for Sunday dinner. Needless to say I was very pleased that she enjoyed this so much and we hope to do this again sometime. The chef was also amazing not just his cooking/teaching but overall he was so much fun to be with â€“ we had some pretty good laughs and he really made us feel at home as to be honest we were not sure what we were walking into. But we sure knew what we walked away from and it was fantastic and would highly recommend this to my friends and family.
