This exciting cooking class introduces the essential techniques used in French kitchens to elevate your everyday cooking. Guided by Chef Peter, you'll explore the fundamentals of refined dining from the ground up.

You'll learn to build mirepoix and rich homemade stocks, master the science behind the Maillard reaction for a perfectly seared steak and discover the fundamentals of roux through a classic chicken velouté – one of the French mother sauces. Delicate balancing techniques tie it all together before you finish with a silky lavender crème brûlée. Along the way, you'll pick up the tricks that build flavor and confidence behind any counter. Booked the class Elevated Entertaining for Home Cooks with Chef Peter in Mississauga

Peter was an absolute delight to be in the kitchen with. From the tart, he greeted us with a warm welcome and his hospitality was great. His chef experience had us excited to assist prepping the meals, and each dish was made amazingly. He not only taught us how to make each dish, but taught us the techniques whether it was to prep, chop and cook. I'm really excited to take this knowledge and apply it within my own kitchen, and hope we can visit Peter again to check out his other classes. Thanks Peter!
