He has been working in and overseeing kitchens since 2005, and was a flourishing private chef in the Cayman Islands before returning to Canada to launch a private chef and catering company. In this interactive cooking class, Chef Jeffrey will teach you how to prepare a gourmet dinner like a professional. You’ll discover top-notch kitchen techniques and the best methods for working with high-quality ingredients.
Make Dijon-highlighted steak tartare with delightfully tart pickles before learning how to perfectly cook steak in a red wine and bone marrow sauce. You’ll also make roasted wild mushrooms and rich creamed spinach as your side. For dessert, craft and indulge in luscious no-bake cheesecake with a unique combination of caramel and mint.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

What a fantastic and special experience! The food was out if this world, and chef Jeffery has a great attitude and overall vibe & has wealth of knowlegde to share. The portions were way more than adequate (my partner and I were absolutely stuffed by the end) and we really felt like we got our $ worth out of the experinence. Jeffrey also put so much time and effort into making sure everything was perfect, was courteous and provided top notch service. My partner and I had so much fun and learned so much, 12/10 would recccomend for anyone looking for a fun, intimate and unique experience for a special occasion.

Chef Jeff was amazing! We learned so much; he was incredibly knowledgeable about food, cooking techniques and building flavours. You get the perfect amount of hands-on experience without feeling like you’re doing a lot of work. You really get to enjoy the experience. Most importantly, the food tasted phenomenal! On top of that, Jeff left the place cleaner than when he arrived! Overall it was a wonderful time to celebrate our anniversary and we hope to be able to do this again in the future.

Communicating with him beforehand was super easy and he arrived fully prepared with everything he would need to bring these dishes to life. We had a wonderful evening with a private dinner for two by Chef Jeffrey R. First, the food was amazing. Jeff is the real deal. Like wow. Second, Jeff hosted us in our own home, and made the experience excellent. Third, Jeff is so full of culinary knowledge it blew our minds. Could have spent hours more listening to his advice and stories. Lastly, Jeff is a really good, down-to-earth, humble guy -- someone you can have a beer with. We loved it and we loved Jeff.
