Bask in the warmth of an inviting Italian kitchen with an in-depth cooking class led by Chef Mathieu. With his passion for turning fresh ingredients into tantalizing dishes, you'll be in great hands while crafting authentic Italian recipes.

For your starter, you'll prepare classic bruschetta, topped with fresh tomatoes and a savory olive tapenade. Then, choose between creamy mushroom risotto or chicken Marsala, rich with wine and herbs for your main course. For dessert, you'll be spoiled for choice with a smooth, elegant panna cotta or the beloved tiramisu, layered with espresso-soaked biscuits and mascarpone. Reserve your spot in the class today!

We had a fantastic evening with Chef Mathieu. He is an excellent educator, a lot of fun, he provided information and opportunities to create something new. We gave him a few challenges with having a big age range from 12 - 60 and then added a Vegan and a gluten free client, he was able to manage all of it extremely well. There was a lot of food, fun and we all learned new things about spices and techniques for cooking. Thanks so much for a fabulous evening Mathieu. Highly recommend!

This was an amazing experience. MATHIEU is your guy! Highly recommend his teaching style. We left confident with new skills and tips to make an exquisite and elevated 4 course meal. We went as a couple and met another lovely couple that made the experience that much more fun! Bring your friends, family or partner to a nice session cooking with Mathieu. We joined Chef Mat for an evening of Mexican cooking and had a great time! The tasks were split evenly among all the participants (our group of 4, and another solo attendee) and Mat was great at floating between all the tasks, guiding, supporting, and teaching. His expertise shined throughout the night and we had a spectacular meal with it! Overall, a great night with great food and laughs.

Cooking with Chef Mat was awesome. He brought great energy and explained each step in a way that made it super easy to follow. The menu he curated was perfect. Every dish was delicious and went together so well. We left with some new skills & our bellies full. Thanks Chef Mat, we will be back!!

We had an incredible experience with Chef Matt and Flo for our BBQ! The food was absolutely outstandingâ€”from the beef, chicken, and steak to the vegetables and dessert. Everything was cooked perfectly and our guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious it was. Beyond the food, they were incredibly attentive and made sure everyone was well looked after throughout the event. Chef Matt and Flo were friendly, professional, talented, and so easy to work with. They went above and beyond to make the day special. We would absolutely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing private chef experience!

Coastal Italian Cooking from Scratch was an absolutely wonderful experience. We had so much fun creating a meal together. It was a really unique way of celebrating a special occasion and spending quality time with my family. Chef Matt came to my home early to set up and guided us in preparing an awesome 4 course meal. He was fun, professional, and taught us new skills and techniques. This experience was so much more memorable than just going out for dinner. I highly recommend Chef Matt and Cozymeal.

We enjoyed a wonderful French cooking class with a Chef Mathieu. The menu included French Onion Soup, Beef Bourguignon, and a custard fruit tart, all of which were incredibly flavourful and gave a good representation of French cooking technique and flavour. Mathieu was very personable, and it was clear that not only did he have the knowledge about the cooking techniques, but also understood how to share them at a level that was understandable to all. We enjoyed the collaborative nature of the class and the ability to be involved in various aspects of the preparation of all components of the meal. The knowledge shared could definitely be translated into at-home practice.

Cooked Mexican food and learned everything from how to identify flavour profiles for a good sauce to good knife holding technique (you think you've been doing it right your whole life but you're probably not). Chef Mathieu is chill, easy to talk to, and his home is spatious! Lots of room for everyone to do their tasks. Then you all sit down together and eat what you made. Overall a great experience, I would recommend it.

I went to this class solo as a present for Christmas. Chef Mathieu was very knowledgeable on cooking and cooking skills. Taught us basic kitchen skills and more. He was very engaging and funny which made it more welcoming. I would definitely do another one of his classes

Chef Mathieu was a pro and a top notch host! Food was amazing and the menu was so well curated, we really felt like we left with new cooking tips and tricks, definitely learned a lot. Overall the food and experience were well worth it and would definitely do again!

Chef Mat was incredible! I bought one of his classes as a gift for my mother and she absolutely loved it. He taught us the basics of Indian cooking. The food was incredible and he was super friendly. Will be using his service again!

My boyfriend and I took the Regional French cooking class and had a 10/10 time. Chef Mat is a fantastic chef and teacher and would highly recommend one of his classes. It was so fun and informative and the food was, of course delicious. Great for a date night or with friends! Thanks again Mat!

Chef Mathieu is a comic posed as a teacher but manages to do both perfectly. I went to this event with my partner and from the initial greeting at the door, I knew it was going to be a great night. He is a wealth of knowledge and shows you real home-cooking tips from beginners to advanced. Also, his past life as a comic really shines through with his sharp wit that had the entire group dying of laughter many times. We cooked a fantastic 4-course Mexican meal from home-made salsa and churros to tostadas and chili-based chicken. The meals were prepared from scratch, nothing was pre-made which is my favourite part of the night, it really felt like you could replicate this meal at home. If you are on the fence about booking Chef Mat, I would highly recommend going forward to have a night you won't forget anytime soon. Thank you Chef Mat!

Chef Mat kept it light, easy going and fun the whole time. We ate extremely well, the courses were perfectly balanced, and we were able to do just the right amount of cooking activity. I attended with my teenage son who also had a great time.

Chef Mat was awesome, I couldnâ€™t recommend him enough! My partner and I had a great experience one New Yearâ€™s Day learning the foundational skills and techniques of French cooking. With his experience, knowledge and friendly approach, cooking the meal was secondary to the fun we had. We will definitely be looking to do more in the future!

We made French onion soup, Beef bourguinon, Blueberry tart Learned proper cutting techniques; Importance of layering the flavours Quite enjoyed the evening and how we worked together to create the meal. Chef Mathieu was very welcoming and taught the group every step to completion of the meal; answered questions and it was quit enjoysblw.
