Learn to make flavorful Mediterranean-style Turkish recipes in this hands-on cooking class.

Join Chef Burcu for an interactive cooking class centered around professional cooking techniques and traditional Turkish cuisine.

Begin by making a silky-smooth red lentil soup to enjoy as your starter, then move to preparing a rich beef stew with aubergine purГ©e as your entrГ©e. Chef Burcu will follow by teaching you a few knife skills you can use to chop up a tomato salad before topping it in a scintillating pomegranate sauce. To wrap up your Mediterranean meal, make crispy tahini and walnut rolls with sweet, buttery phyllo pastry.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Educated in the arts of French cuisine, chocolate confection and cake design, she has held positions as a food server, chef and executive chef in restaurants and hotels across Turkey and Canada — she has even owned a pasta-making company. Chef Burcu specializes in French and Mediterranean cuisine and is excited to share her knowledge and skills as a culinary instructor.

We had a lovely evening learning to cook Turkish dishes. The space was inviting and Chef Burcu was generous in sharing her knowledge and experiences. We would recommend her classes!

A delightful evening. Chef Burcu was inviting, tranquil and generous. Our small group of 4 learned and shared much about Turkish cuisine and the country in general.
