In this hands-on cooking class, Chef Avi welcomes you to indulge in both a culinary education and flavorful bites that explore cuisines that originated in different areas across Europe, including Spain and Greece. You'll learn basic kitchen skills as you handcraft recipes for four mouthwatering dishes, including a simple garlic shrimp sauté with lemon and butter, and Romana calamari with mushrooms, bell peppers, spinach and herbed Spanish rice. For a dessert that is sure to impress anyone, Chef Avi will show you how to make churros from scratch.

I booked Avi as a surprise for my wife’s birthday and wow - he delivered! Not only was Avi a great conversationalist on a wide range of topics, he is incredibly knowledgeable about unique spices and ingredients that make a dish sing! He also is health conscious and provided valuable advice for places to buy high quality ingredients at bargain prices. Chef Avi provided an absolutely delightful culinary experience. Extremely knowledgeable on many different cooking techniques from different cultures and was very friendly and communicable. Showed us many new tips and tricks in the kitchen and never hesitated to make the best use of a learning opportunity. We cooked: -Ghate Garam -Red Lentil Soup With mire poix, bay leaves, chicken broth and cilantro -Chicken Tikka Masala and Basmati Rice Pilaf With tomatoes, yogurt and spices -Mango Rice Pudding With milk, sugar and essences Chef Avi was excellent. He gave us a lot of information about knifes and cutting techniques, we learned about new vegetables that we didn’t know and had the chance to taste them. Chef Avi was personable and a well of knowledge - he taught is a tonne or little tricks to improve the way we cook at home and provided a hands-on lesson in knife skills. The 4 course Indian meal was delicious and the entire experience was first rate. We would definitely do another event with Chef Avi!

I had cooked the Rustic french dinner with Chef Avi and it was so delicious; one of the tastiest chicken dishes i've ever had. Chef Avi was excellent, providing tips along the way as my cooking skills are beginner at best. He went out of his way to give tips about cooking in general and ways to eat healthier. Chef Avi was flexible in the method of the class, allowing us to decide how involved we wanted to be. I would recommend a class with Chef Avi to anyone looking to enjoy a few hours of cooking and great conversation. :)

Great knowledge, very friendly. portion was amazing and we were so grateful for the extra food. Good value for money. It would have been nice to be more a part of the cooking as I did indicate that I would like to learn knife techniques and such. I only peeled a carrot. Appointment/event went 2.5 hours overtime and this was a struggle. We never eat that late and it inhibited my enjoyment of the meal. I could hardly eat anything due to usually being in bed before 9:30. I usually do tip but I needed to pay extra for the travel to Limoges. This is the only reason I did not tip.
