Learn the secrets to making authentic Greek recipes completely from scratch.

During this hands-on cooking class, Chef Levi will teach you how to cook a traditional Greek feast featuring three rustic courses that will have everyone saying, "opa!"

Start by frying hard cheese you'll flambГ© in brandy and enjoy with homemade pita bread. Prepare chicken souvlaki for the main course with traditional tzatziki sauce made with lemon, fresh herbs, yogurt and garlic. You'll also cook herb rice pilaf and a roasted vegetable medley to pair with your souvlaki. For the perfect balance of flavors, you'll end by making a classic Greek dessert: Sweet rice pudding.

Chef Levi was great! We highly recommend taking his class! We loved having the lesson in our kitchen! The flambe was our favourite.

Chef Levi was a great teacher and a great chef! He demonstrated the techniques for preparing the items on the menu in a very easy to understand way and gave us some very helpful tips. He let us do as much of the preparation as we felt comfortable doing. He was very easy to talk to and we had some great conversations. The food was great and we look forward to trying the preparation on our own.

We recently booked the Rustic Greek Feast experience with chef Levi. The food was great, and the experience was fun, however there are a couple of items that I’d like to point out for Levi’s consideration, and for future clients. There were alterations made to the menu that we were surprised, and disappointed by. The “Hard cheese, such as Kefalotyri’ was substituted with smoked gouda and marble cheddar cheese, which was disappointing. The cheeses were to be flambéed in brandy, but he forgot the brandy, so we needed to provide that, and the ‘medley of roasted vegetables’ turned out to be only roasted carrots. A suggestion for future events would be to give the clients a list of the items they need to provide, such as cutting boards, knives, barbeque, etc.
