Learn the secrets known by the finest French chefs as you create a spread from scratch.
Let Chef Jeffrey teach you the time-honored kitchen traditions of French cooking in this hands-on cooking class with authentic goodness. He'll share his expertise in the ways of traditional cuisine, from the true home of gourmet cooking.
Your lesson begins with classic French onion soup topped with bubbly gruyère cheese. Then, Chef Jeffrey will show you how to perfectly sear a strip steak, which you'll top with a peppery au poivre sauce prepared with Cognac and shallots, and sided by creamy potatoes infused with Comté and brie cheese. For dessert, whip up luscious chocolate mousse.
Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Jeffrey is a successful chef who has been honing his culinary craft for many years, earning his chef training at George Brown College. He has been working in and overseeing kitchens since 2005, and was a flourishing private chef in the Cayman Islands before returning to Canada to launch a private chef and catering company. Chef Jeffrey, who leads culinary seminars and competitions, can't wait to inspire others with his innovative cuisine.

Booked as an Anniversary present, Jeff had a great attitude and made us both feel very comfortable.
All dishes and ingredients were explained throughly and even some alternatives to recreate dishes on a budget or with easy to find ingredients. Involved us in the process teaching us knife skills along the way, and other skills.
Jeff also provided a wornderful dining expirience, serving our dishes and cleaning up in between courses, never failing to top off our wine glasses, and jaming to some classic 2000s music in the background.
Truly a wonderfull expirence that we will do again. Worth every penny.

Our cooking and dining experience with Chef Jeff was outstanding! My husband likes to cook and I thought a cooking lesson would be a perfect bday gift for him. It exceeded my expectations. Chef was fully prepared, organized and neat. His explanations were thorough and easy to understand…and the food was delicious. What made this so memorable? Chef is friendly and genuine. Jeffrey was really amazing ! Explained very well everything. The steak was very small, half of a small steak. per person. For the price I’d expect a full steak each. We still enjoyed the experience.

Chef Jeff was an amazing vibe - we loved every second of this experience. Jeff came so prepared - and full of knowledge. He explained every step of the process in a way that was easy to understand - and his prep ahead of time made sure everything flowed so seamlessly. The food was also amazing - both my partner and I agree it was one of the best meals (if not the best) we've ever had! We learned so much and had such an amazing time. Chef Jeff was such a pleasure to talk to and made the night amazing! Couldn't recommend this more!! 10/10!

What a fantastic and special experience! The food was out if this world, and chef Jeffery has a great attitude and overall vibe & has wealth of knowlegde to share. The portions were way more than adequate (my partner and I were absolutely stuffed by the end) and we really felt like we got our $ worth out of the experinence. Jeffrey also put so much time and effort into making sure everything was perfect, was courteous and provided top notch service. My partner and I had so much fun and learned so much, 12/10 would recccomend for anyone looking for a fun, intimate and unique experience for a special occasion.

This whole experience was incredible! I bought this as a gift for my fiancé and Cheff Jeffrey exceeded our expectations. I would easily place this meal as one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I wanted to surprise my fiancee with an exclusive chef experience and Chef Jeff was absolutely amazing. The food was absolutely delicious and Jeff was also very conversational - which made it a delightful event. My fiancee loved it and so did I. Chef Jeff was amazing! We learned so much; he was incredibly knowledgeable about food, cooking techniques and building flavours. You get the perfect amount of hands-on experience without feeling like you’re doing a lot of work. You really get to enjoy the experience. Most importantly, the food tasted phenomenal! On top of that, Jeff left the place cleaner than when he arrived! Overall it was a wonderful time to celebrate our anniversary and we hope to be able to do this again in the future.

This was my second Cozymeal experience and it was just as great as the last. Chef Jeffrey was a great chef to watch and learn from during our dinner experience with my mom and brothers. Coordinating the event with him was fast easy, and he showed up on time and well prepared. He was very knowledgeable and open to any questions on his techniques or cooking tips, and the food was delicious. We would definitely book him again in the future and recommend him to others.

Booking this experience with Jeff was perfect from start to finish. Communicating with him beforehand was super easy and he arrived fully prepared with everything he would need to bring these dishes to life. Cooking with him was a ton of fun and we learned a lot along the way. And, of course, the food was absolutely incredible.

Had a great experience with Chef Jeff! I had booked him for a birthday celebration and everyone had a great time. Chef Jeff was very knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining and came prepared with everything that was needed. He also made the experience very inviting as some people were a bit shy and didn't have any cooking experience. My boyfriend and I had an amazing time with CJ like I’ve nicknamed him ?. It was his birthday treat and our anniversary.
The meals were delicious, taste was differently good and way out of the already. My boyfriend who’s a picky eater cleared his plate without hesitating or overthinking.
Chef Jeff was friendly, communicative, prim and polite. He cleaned up well and left the kitchen spotless. He kept to time and made sure we were ok each time he got the chance to.
This experience was super fun and pleasant; it sure outdid my expectation in an amazing way. We sure had a good time frfr and if we’re to have it again, it definitely will be CJ ?

What a great experience, Chef Jeff was awesome!
The food and presentation was fabulous. Jeff was extremely personable and friendly, he arrived on time and handled all the clean up! The best part of this experience was when Jeff explained the dishes in detail, also the portion sizes were very generous. Jeff checked in on us multiple times throughout the meal.
Overall fun experience with some very tasty food! Can't wait to book again.

Chef Jeff was wonderful! He guided us through a delicious French meal. He accommodated our preferences in advance and taught us how to make the perfect steak. We also loved learning ratatouille, pommes aligot, and chocolate mousse. Jeff is kind, fun, professional, and laid back - and made the experience joyful and comfortable. He was very organised, with all the ingredients and prep work finshed before arrival, and sorted into containers ready to cook. He cleaned as we cooked, and left the kitchen spotless.
