Cooking Class - Sushi Making 101
Get expert instruction on all the basics of making your favorite sushi dishes.
Seasoned sushi expert Chef Wone Hung Jack will walk you through a beginner's guide to making maki in this hands-on cooking class. You'll learn the basics, including how to prepare rolls and a sushi cone.
First, learn the knife skills for properly slicing fresh fish and then begin handcrafting your futomaki roll filled with tuna, cucumber, avocado and imitation crab meat. Next, prepare a classic California roll, followed by a sushi cone made Korean style. To finish your sushi lesson, whip up a delightfully sweet ice cream-style treat spiked with matcha.
