What You’ll Do

Learn how to cook classic Nigerian fare with a contemporary twist.

In this engaging cooking class, Chef Imma will teach you how to elevate signature dishes of Nigerian cuisine using regional ingredients and techniques.

First, the chef will guide you as you prepare homemade mini pies filled with red lentils and hearty vegetables. Next, you will craft a rich and savory stewed pork before learning how to achieve perfect jollof rice. Finish the meal by transforming fresh plantains into a sweet crГЄpe dessert with chocolate and fresh fruit, and mixing a refreshing, non-alcoholic hibiscus sangria with pineapple and lime.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Imma is a classically trained culinary master; originally from Nigeria, she skillfully creates delicious Afro-Italian inspired meals. She is a very friendly and entertaining Chef and students will leave the class feeling empowered to recreate her amazing menus!
